Where Love Is
The inspirational story of the Capuchin Soup Kitchen, which has been faithfully serving the poor of Detroit since 1929.  A simple friar named Solanus Casey, whose saintly life of prayer and charity are legendary in Detroit, inspired the kitchen.  It has become one of Detroit’s most beloved charity organizations, providing not only three meals a day at two locations, but also working towards long-term systemic change and social justice through education, including a drug rehabilitation center, the Rosa Parks Art Center for Children and an urban farm program.

Saint Giuseppe Moscati Doctor of the Poor pt. 2
The story of St. Giuseppe Moscati is retold in this beautifully made new film from Italy.   It tells of the plight and struggles of the poor and homeless of Naples in the early 20th Century during a time of great inequality and poverty.  Saint Giuseppe dedicated himself tirelessly to caring for the sick and forsaken, ultimately dedicating all of his possessions and sacrificing his very life in their service.
