On June 29, Archbishop Allen Vigneron received a pallium -- a thin, woolen vestment that symbolizes an archbishop's mission to shepherd God's people. Throughout a pilgrimage over the last several days, Archbishop Vigneron has carried prayers for the people of the Archdiocese in his heart as he has journeyed to Rome to receive his pallium from Pope Benedict XVI at the Vatican.
