Archbishop Vigneron to Receive Pallium from Pope on June 29

PalliumDetroit Archbishop Vigneron will be among other archbishops from the United States receiving pallia (plural for pallium) at the Basilica of St. Peter at the Vatican. The ceremony will take place at 3:30 a.m. Detroit time on Monday, June 29. A video clip reel, still photographs from the ceremony, and other accompanying information will be made available by 2 p.m. that day through the Archdiocese of Detroit Communications Office. More detailed information on logistics will be released prior to the event.

The Catholic Television Network of Detroit (CTND) and the archdiocesan Web site will provide live coverage and encore presentations of the pallium ceremony.
